The Weight RM ("we," "us") operates a personal training gym at 2535 W 237th St Unit 126, Torrance, CA 90505, and the website theweightrm.com. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and communications, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose.

Information We Collect

Consultation requests. When you request a free consultation, we collect your first and last name, email address, and phone number so we can contact you and schedule your visit.

Communications. If you email us or exchange text messages with us, we keep those communications so we have context when we work with you.

Member accounts. If you become a member, your account, scheduling, and billing are managed through Clubworx, our club management platform. Payments themselves — charges and refunds — are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full payment card details. Clubworx and Stripe each describe their handling of your data in their own privacy policies at clubworx.com and stripe.com/privacy.

Information we do not collect through this website. We do not collect government IDs, health records, or precise location data through this website. Anything you choose to tell your coach about your health history or injuries is used only to program your training safely.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your consultation request and schedule your visit
  • To provide coaching services, manage sessions, and communicate about your membership
  • To send you information about our programs if you have agreed to receive communications from us
  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website and services

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Marketing Communications and Opting Out

By submitting our consultation form you agree to receive communications from us. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text message, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us at info@theweightrm.com and we will remove you.

When We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that run parts of our business for us — Clubworx (club management, scheduling, and billing), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosts our website and processes consultation form submissions), and Google Workspace (delivers those submissions and our email). These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements — if we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our members and staff.

Third-Party Links

Our product recommendations page contains affiliate links to third-party retailers. If you click one, that retailer's privacy policy applies to anything you do on their site. Our website also embeds our training calendar from Clubworx and links to Google Maps; those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how visitors use our website — pages visited, time on site, and general (city-level) location. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can limit this through your browser settings or Google's opt-out controls.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep consultation requests and communications for as long as needed to work with you, and member records for as long as required for business and legal purposes. If you want your information deleted, ask — see below.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you
  • Correct it if it's wrong
  • Delete it, unless we are legally required to keep it

Email info@theweightrm.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days. California residents: we honor these requests for everyone, regardless of whether a specific privacy law technically applies to a business of our size.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Minors train with us only with a parent or guardian's involvement and consent.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and our service providers maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
